Currently, caster vampires have no way to regen their blood pool except utilizing the skill Unwilling Bite. However, this skill is a flat rate of DC 15 resilience, I have never once seen any npc in the past 3 years that would not be able to pass this DC.

Meanwhile, an equivalent incapacitating racial, Bear Hug, does scale with level, as do several other abilities.

Blood in general feels poorly designed, as there is only 1 item currently in game that can regen it and its a Pet that must be bought with real money. Blood requires mana, yet regen can be found in a melee ability of sanguine strikes. This means that as a melee, you either opt for a pitiful blood pool that limits play, and good attack sides, and attack powr --- or you stack mana to have a blood pool, yet your attack sides and dice suffer.

There is no gear itemized for vampires in the sense of providing both attack sides, attack power, and mana.

The issue is compounded by the fact that again, as a caster, vampires have no viable way to regen their blood outside Unwilling Bite. Furthermore, there are really only 2 specs a vampire can use (Illusion Master of the Mind And Shadow Ascension) that allow for casting more than 3-4 spells without being completely screwed out of mana due to the lack of a viable regen for the caster vampire.

Please think about either reitemizing some gear for the melee vampire, changing how vampires can regen blood via Unwilling Bite, or changing how vampires get blood to begin with.
